Our number of horses have increased by one more. This here pretty girl is Chloe.
She`s a seventeen year old thoroughbred we bought for my oldest daughter. She is super sweet, quiet and virtually bombproof...she should be a nice addition to the farm.
Meanwhile, I've started riding Aussie outside the comfort of the arena.
It's been going pretty good He's been testing me alot and I keep failing. How do I know this? Farm Girl will jump on his back before and after me, and he is an angel.
I know it's a total lack of respect for me as a rider on his part because on the ground, he is all over me with affection so it is something I need to stick to and through because truthfully all I want to do when he starts refusing me is jump off. But that would only allow him to win and put the thought into his head that he was boss. Though having Farm Girl and Chase out there with me does help alot.
He does behave more when the alpha horse is nearby to keep an eye on him. Chase doesn`t allow for any funny business. And Aussie knows it.
But eventually he surrounded to me---well at least long enough for me to enjoy my ride.
Even with a stubborn attitude, I love my horse!!
